New Crate and Barrel collection takes whole home approach to modern design

Trove by Crate and Barrel developed by Sebastian Brauer

Northbrook, Ill. – Crate and Barrel’s fall launches include a new modern collection across multiple product categories.

Trove by Crate and Barrel is the first full collection created under the direction of the retailer’s new VP of product design and development, Sebastian Brauer.

Trove was inspired by global design cities, and the inaugural collection drew from Copenhagen specifically, he said in an introduction to the collection.

“The influence of the mid-century greats once eclipsed contemporary design there, but an avant-garden wave of creatives have fueled an exhilarating renaissance,” he said.

Home textiles in the Trove collection includes:

  • Decorative pillows in solids, wovens and prints at prices ranging from $34.95 to $119.95
  • Duvet covers and quilts retailing at $99.95 to $129.95 for full/queen sizes
  • Rugs and runners from $349.00 to $2,099.00
  • Napkins, place mats and table runners
  • Organic cotton waffle weave bath towels and shower curtains

The full assortment includes furniture, décor pieces, lighting, tableware and wall art. A new Trove collection will be introduced each fall and spring, inspired by a new modern design city.

In addition to Trove, the Crate and Barrel fall collection includes three design-forward product stories, including Modern Prairie, which was inspired by Chicago architecture, Prairie School and Frank Lloyd Wright
